Capoeira Brooklyn RODATHON! May 26, 2012: Coming up this Memorial Day weekend, our first ever RODATHON from 3-5pm at BAM’s African Bazaar! Come out and support Capoeira Brooklyn during this Batizado fundraiser. Come see what your friends and family have been training all year and help us to keep the energy up as play a two hour long roda!
Ananda Retreat June 8-10, 2012: come to Ananda Ashram for our summer capoeira retreat. Swim, play capoeira, learn new songs, and get to know your classmates a little better. Save the date and look for registration information this Spring.
Fire on the Water June 27, 2012: Tickets available now at the academy! Minimum donation is $10, and everything we earn from ticket sales goes to our Batizado. The boat will departs from Pier 40 at West Houston Street and the West Side Highway. Our VIP ticket holders can board as early as 6pm. The boat sails from 7:30-10:30pm. Cash bar on board.
